How Well Do You Know Me: Group

Privacy Policy

In short: the game has no server and no accounts. Your name and answers travel only between the phones in your room and are not stored after the game. The developer never sees them. The one outside service the app talks to is RevenueCat, which handles in-app purchases and keeps a few anonymous game counters.

What you enter

That is all. The app does not ask for your email, phone number, contacts, photos, location or microphone.

Where it is stored

Your name, colour, chosen language, sound setting and the list of questions this phone has already shown are saved only on your phone, in the app's own storage. Answers are kept in memory for the length of a game and are never written to disk.

If iPhone backup is turned on, the app's small settings file is included in your backup to iCloud or your computer, like any other app's settings. Apple operates those backups; the developer has no access to them.

Playing with other people

The game connects phones in the same room directly to each other over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity. Nothing passes through the internet or any server. The connection is encrypted.

To play, the phones exchange what the game needs: each player's name and colour, and the answers given during the round. Other players in your room will see your name and your answers — that is the game. When the game ends, the other phones do not keep them.

iOS will ask you for Local Network access (and may mention Bluetooth). It is used only to find the other phones in the room.

When data leaves your phone because you chose to

You can share an invitation to the game or a picture of the results using the standard iOS share sheet. You pick where it goes — Messages, a chat app, social media. Once sent, that service's own rules apply.

Writing to us. "Write to us" in Settings opens your own mail app with a draft addressed to us. Below your message the draft already contains the app version, iOS version, iPhone model and the game's language, so a bug can be reproduced. You can read or delete those lines before sending. If you send it, we receive your email address and what you wrote, and use them only to reply. We do not add you to any list, and you can ask us to delete the conversation at any time.

Rating the game. The rating prompt and the review page are Apple's own. What you write there goes to Apple and the App Store, not through the app.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple. The developer never receives your name, Apple Account, card or payment details.

To know which packs you have unlocked, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous ID created by the app, the details of your purchases (which product, when, in which country's store, the subscription status) and basic technical details such as the app version and iOS version. Like any online service, it sees the IP address of the request. It does not receive your name, email, answers or anything you type in the game.

Game counters

To understand how the game is played, the app keeps a few numbers on your phone and sends them to RevenueCat, under the same anonymous ID used for purchases:

That is the whole list. No names, no answers, no question text, nothing typed in the game. The numbers are not linked to your identity and are not used for advertising.

No ads or tracking

The app shows no ads, contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools, does not track you across other apps or websites and does not access your device's advertising identifier.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect data from them. As described above, the app itself collects no personal information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Changes to this policy

If a future version starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
